Meadowlands Festival 4 Hour Set

This year Alex Banks will be taking over the ‘Other Place’ tent on the Friday night (24th May) at Meadowlands Festival with his own night Low Frequency.

As well as an exclusive 4 hour set form himself, he will be playing alongside fellow Brightonians Riskothque and TCC.

Banks Solid Steel Residency in Brighton

The first night last Friday featured DK, next up in December is DJ Cheeba and DJ Food in January, each on the third Friday of every month.

Bonobo’s ‘The Keeper’ (Banks remix) will be released by Ninja Tune on 13th Feb 2012 as part of the ‘Black Sands Remixed’ album. ‘Black Sands Remixed’ gathers together a group of like-minded musicians and producers to interpret this classic album. Most of the material here has never been heard before and has been gathered with assistance from renowned DJ and label-head Alexander Nut.

Featuring remixes from Machinedrum, FaltyDL, Mark Pritchard and Floating Points amongst others, Black Sands Remixed is available to pre-order now exclusively at the Ninjashop. Formats include a 3LP set with added Funkineven and Letherette remixes, CD with bonus coloured 5″ vinyl (both physical releases coming with a free bonus CD of rare remixes), as well as digital formats.
